Dive Trips
We run two daily reef trips at 8am and 1pm. On each trip we visit 2 locations spending an hour at each site with an overall time that can take up to 4 hours. Most of our reefs are shallow so certified divers are not guided unless they book a private guide. If you specifically want to be at the sanctuary, wreck, night or outside the sanctuary to bring home dinner, please let us know in your reservation process.
Daily Reef Trips
Our Daily Trips visit over 30 different dive sites including Sombrero Reef and Coffin's Patch Santuaries. Just let us know where you've been and we'll be sure to show you someplace new. Our boats carry 12 divers max so you wont be lost in the crowd. The reefs here host over 1200 species. Take home pictures and memories or bring home dinner. We have sites both inside and outside the "no-take" sanctuaries.

Night Dives
Diving at night is not only exciting, it's critter rich, During the long days way typically do 2 tank night dives. We do a dusk dive followed by a sunset surface interval. Then we hop in for the night to surround us. This allows us to see the reef both in the daylight and compare it to the dark.
When the days get cooler and shorter, we do one long night dive. Please, book this in advance so that we can assure to meet our trip minimums.
Lights are available for purchase or simply rent one.

Wreck Dives
The Thunderbolt Wreck here in Marathon hosts a perfect setting for a wreck dive. The ship has been collecting wildlife since her sinking in 1986. The Thunderbolt sits upright in tact in 120'ft of water. She is 188ft long and has her superstructure minus the engine in the engine compartment. This dive is GUIDED for your safety and convenience. You must be at least 15yrs of age to make this dive. Although advanced certification is always encouraged, we would rather see your dive log with some previous deep experience. There is no need to dive deeper than 105'ft as the deck of the ship harbors the abundance of critters we dive to enjoy. Please, make sure you request this dive specifically as it does require extra preparation for our crew and other dive customers.

Spearfishing/ Lobstering
Spearfishing when done correctly, is the most conservative method of eating fish. At Tilden's, all spearfishing must happen with a buddy or hire one of our professional hunting guides. Lionfish are also a great target as they do not belong here in the keys. All fish collected are to be treated with respect and with the intent to eat them. Our boats have the fishing licenses already in place, so no need to register personally. Lobsters may also be collected during season. Please, be sure to share your desire to collect when booking as we need to be sure that the trips are not headed to our "no-take" sanctuaries.
